My name is Hamid Bouredda. I was born here, I live here, and for over a decade I've been showing travelers what the Atlas Mountains truly look like — away from the crowds, and without the performance.

I didn't discover
these mountains. I grew up in them.
I grew up in Imlil at 1,740 metres. Most visitors pass through for a few hours. For me, this has always been home — the village, the paths above it, the families who live along the routes I now guide.
As a child I walked these mountains with my father. I learned which passes flood in winter, where the wildflowers grow first in spring, and which ridge gives you the clearest view of Toubkal. That knowledge doesn't come from a course. It comes from a lifetime.
Over 10 years ago, I started guiding travellers — mostly people looking for something different from the standard Marrakech day trip. They wanted to see real life in the mountains: local families, honest food, quiet paths. That's exactly what I've built my work around. Today I hold a Natural Landscape Tour Guide license (No. 1380, Marrakech–Safi Region) from the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism.
What I offer is simple. I take you to places that matter to me personally — the tea stop with a family I've known for years, the trail that follows the valley before the crowds arrive, the lunch spot with a view that still stops me every time.
I don't work with agencies. I don't guide large groups. I keep things small and personal because that's the only way I know how to do this properly. Every experience is designed to be respectful — to the mountain, to the villages, and to the families who welcome you into their homes.
